The road to successful reentry is never easy and is especially difficult for people experiencing poverty and with limited social support. Many are unable to afford basic needs like food, housing, and transportation. This means that they nor their families are able to properly celebrate the holiday season without external help. 

We are spreading holiday cheer this year by providing food boxes and toys to 300 families in Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson counties! 150 families will receive food boxes for Thankgiving, and 150 families will receive Christmas meal boxes and children's toys.

Returning citizens and their families often face discrimination because of their criminal record. They struggle to make ends meet, find jobs, and reintegrate back into their community. By providing food boxes and toys for the holiday season, we are showing these families that they do matter and they are worthy.

We need your help to provide all of these families with some holiday joy. You can donate in-kind food or toy items, or donate money towards the purchase of those items. We are also looking for sponsors to help us buy items in bulk!
