OUR SERVICES
NEW Reentry Council provides referral assistance and comprehensive case management supportive service assistance for enrolled program participants. The program seeks to enroll high-risk and high-need persons with criminal histories living in Nash, Edgecombe, or Wilson counties. Supportive service assistance is provided based on individual client need, and primarily involves employment, transportation, and housing-related support. Areas of support include:

Assistance with purchasing work clothing, tools, equipment, or hygiene items; education and vocational training support, including tuition assistance or the purchase of school supplies.

Transportation assistance for job searches, interviews, work or class.

Emergency rental assistance.

Comprehensive case management, including, but not limited to, risk/needs assessment, job search assistance, financial planning/budgeting, and referral services to address a range of other needs.
HOW TO GET ASSISTANCE
Clients with an appointment are seen before walk-ins. To make an appointment, call your county's office Monday or Wednesday between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
You can also request an appointment by completing and submitting the "NEW Reentry Council Customer Interest Form."
