Robert was released in December 2020 with no place to live. He contacted Hope Station for help. The local community partner provided short-term temporary housing. When that solution expired, he reached out and we connected Robert with Flynn Men Christian Home who provided him with housing for a month.
During his stay at Flynn Men Christian Home, Robert found fulltime employment at a wage that allowed him to afford an apartment of his own.
Today, Robert continues to work fulltime and maintain his own housing, despite battling numerous health issues. He is self-sufficient and has developed a good relationship with his employer. Grateful for the support from the NEW Reentry Council, he said, “I wouldn’t have made it without the support. I owe it all to Jesus.”
