Desmond was released early in June 2021 to serve his remaining time in transitional housing. He was released with few personal items. His search for work was fruitless and he turned to NEW Reentry for help.
NEW Reentry helped him find a job within days of his initial contact. They also provided for some of his basic needs and transportation so he could get to work. Desmond is now working towards purchasing a house and a car.
He said he’s glad to be working again and thankful for the help.
